About me

Laszlon Costa is an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA), where he teaches and conducts research. His academic foundation was built at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), where he earned his Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Master’s in Computer and Electrical Engineering, and Doctoral degrees in Teleinformatics Engineering.

His doctoral research was conducted at the Wireless Telecommunications Research Group (GTEL) and involved an industrial collaboration with Ericsson. This experience culminated in a period as a visiting researcher in TU Darmstadt (Germany), where he advanced his studies.

Following the completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Costa transitioned to the technology sector, joining the Atlantico Institute. He initially served as a Senior Software Developer from 2022 to 2024, contributing his C++ expertise to a project for Hewlett-Packard (HP). He was subsequently promoted to IT Project Manager within the same organization, where he led teams and managed the software project lifecycle.

In 2025, he returned to academia as a professor at UFCA. As an educator, his mission is to translate complex engineering topics into accessible and engaging knowledge, aiming to inspire and train the next generation of professionals and researchers.
